Jennifer Tilly is a Los Angeles native, born in sub-standard conditions in September 16th the year 1958. Her mother was a schoolteacher and an unsuccessful actor while her father sold automobiles. Jennifer, as the second daughter of four, often attended theater performances by her mother and was very amazed. Jennifer's mother and father divorced at the age of five. Jennifer spent the bulk of her childhood living in British Columbia, after her mother and father moved to the province with their four children. Jennifer never was a artist although she did have an artistic talent when she was a child. When she was in Canada, she was the victim of bullying a lot. Her interest in theater began to fade at the age of 16, she began participating in plays with her mother. All of her children were motivated by their mothers to follow their passion for art. After that, she immediately began acting.
